Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the Suvedha platform. By accessing or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform immediately.
These Terms are binding in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011.
In these Terms, “you” or “User” refers to any farmer, vendor, or visitor accessing the Suvedha platform; “Vendor” refers to third-party sellers listing products on Suvedha; “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to Suvedha Agritech Pvt. Ltd. and its affiliates.
About Suvedha
Suvedha (www.suvedha.com) is an Internet-based agricultural marketplace incorporated under the laws of India. It serves as an aggregated platform connecting vendors — including seed companies, agri-input suppliers, and equipment providers — with farmers and agricultural buyers across India.
Use of the platform is conditioned on your acceptance of these Terms without modification. Suvedha reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline registration to any User without assigning a reason.
User Account, Password & Security
Upon completing registration, you will be assigned an account and password. You are solely responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying Suvedha immediately of any unauthorised use or security breach at [suvedha.agri@gmail.coml]
- Logging out at the end of each session
Suvedha shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to secure your account credentials.
Services Offered
Suvedha provides an online marketplace through which:
- Farmers can browse, compare, and purchase agricultural products such as seeds, fertilisers, pesticides, equipment, and related accessories from verified vendors.
- Vendors can list, manage, and sell their products to a wide base of farming customers.
Purchases are subject to additional policies including our Cancellation Policy, Return Policy, and Refund Policy, all of which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Suvedha reserves the right to cancel any order, in whole or in part, due to product unavailability, force majeure events, suspected fraud, logistical constraints, or violations of these Terms. Refunds for prepaid orders in such cases will be processed in accordance with our Refund Policy.
Vendor Responsibilities
Vendors on the Suvedha platform agree to:
- List only genuine, accurately described, and legally compliant agricultural products
- Honour confirmed orders and fulfil them in a timely manner
- Maintain fair and transparent pricing
- Comply with all applicable laws, including the Insecticides Act, Seeds Act, Fertiliser Control Order, and any other relevant agricultural regulations
- Not engage in misleading advertising, false claims, or price manipulation
Suvedha acts as an intermediary platform and is not the seller of record for vendor-listed products. Vendors are independently responsible for product quality, labelling, and compliance.
Privacy Policy
By using Suvedha, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Your use of the platform constitutes consent to the data practices described therein.
Permitted Use & Restrictions
You agree to use the Suvedha platform only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Reverse engineer, copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform or its content without prior written permission
- Post defamatory, abusive, misleading, obscene, or unlawful content
- Upload files containing viruses, malware, or harmful code
- Conduct or forward spam, pyramid schemes, or chain communications
- Falsify product information, reviews, or seller credentials
- Violate any applicable Indian law or regulation
- Attempt to manipulate platform rankings, ratings, or search results
- Create multiple accounts to abuse platform policies or promotional offers
Communications
By registering your phone number or email address on Suvedha, you consent to receiving communications via SMS, WhatsApp, email, or phone calls for:
- Order confirmations and updates
- Transactional notifications
- Promotional offers and platform updates
You may opt out of promotional communications at any time through your account settings.
User Content & Warranties
By submitting content (reviews, queries, images, etc.) on Suvedha, you warrant that:
- You are the rightful owner of the content or have authorisation to use it
- The content does not infringe upon any intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of third parties
- No legal action or dispute is pending in relation to any content you submit
You retain ownership of your content but grant Suvedha a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and use such content for platform-related purposes.
Product Accuracy & Disclaimer
Suvedha endeavours to ensure that product information — including descriptions, images, and specifications — is accurate. However, we do not guarantee the exactness of product appearance, performance, or suitability for a specific agricultural purpose.
- Product performance is subject to usage as per manufacturer guidelines
- Users are advised to read all product labels and enclosed leaflets carefully before use
- Suvedha is not responsible for variations in product availability or minor discrepancies in quantity due to vendor or brand constraints
Where a change to your order is necessary, Suvedha will seek your approval via registered email. You retain the right to reject the change within 10 days of notification.
Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property on the Suvedha platform — including logos, trademarks, content, graphics, source code, and databases — is owned by Suvedha Agritech Pvt. Ltd. unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any platform content without explicit written authorisation.
Vendor and user-submitted content remains the property of the respective submitter. However, by publishing content on the platform, you grant Suvedha a licence to display and use that content in connection with platform operations.
Third-Party Links & Services
Suvedha may contain links to third-party websites or integrated services. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of such external sites. Their inclusion does not constitute an endorsement by Suvedha. Users are encouraged to independently verify information from third-party sources.
Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
Suvedha provides its platform on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Suvedha shall not be liable for:
- Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform
- Unauthorised access to or alteration of user data
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Platform unavailability due to maintenance, technical failures, or force majeure events
- The quality, safety, or legality of products sold by vendors on the platform
Users download or use any information or material from the platform entirely at their own risk.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Suvedha Agritech Pvt. Ltd., its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms
- Your use or misuse of the platform
- Any content you post or submit
- Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights
Pricing
All product prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to change at the discretion of individual vendors. Suvedha does not guarantee price accuracy at all times and recommends verifying the final price at checkout. Platform fees and commissions applicable to vendors are governed by separate vendor agreements.
Shipping & Delivery
Title and risk of loss for purchased products passes to the buyer upon dispatch by the vendor to the designated shipping carrier.
Termination
Suvedha reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform if you breach any of these Terms, engage in fraudulent or unethical conduct, or violate applicable laws. Upon termination:
- Your account and associated data may be deleted
- Any pending obligations (such as payment for confirmed orders) remain enforceable
- Suvedha shall not be liable to you or any third party for such termination
These Terms survive termination with respect to any accrued rights or obligations.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed, and the remaining Terms shall continue in full force and effect.
Reporting Violations
If you encounter any content or conduct that violates these Terms — including fraud, counterfeit products, abusive behaviour, or intellectual property infringement — please report it to us at:
